2012 Season Clothing

Our stores are bursting at the seams right now with new gear, we're desperately trying to keep up adding thing to the website! Some of the highlights so far are from long-term favourites Dainese, but we're also seeing some great kit come in from new-ish brand Merlin, new-ish to us brand Ixon and the replacement for our best selling flip front helmet of all time has also hit the shelves.

If you read the bike press or most motorbike news sites, you probably heard about Frank Thomas' parent company, TSG, folding last year. We'd always been fans of Frank Thomas kit, so when some of the long term FT staff started a new company, Merlin Apparel, we knew they would be on to a winner. Our first range was very popular and we've now added quite a bit of their new products for 2012. The Route One kevlar jeans range was a huge hit for us and we've just (today!) had a delivery of their latest "Jefferson" kevlar jeans, a waxy blue/grey jean with DuPont kevlar lining in the knees and backside. We never seem to be done with going on about how well these fit, but at the end of the day, surely comfort is what Kevlar jeans are all about?

Caberg's latest flip front helmet, the Duke has arrived too, which is gradually replacing the Konda, which replaced the Trip...The Konda and the Trip have been two of our all-time best selling lids so the Duke has a lot to live up to. A completely new helmet, the Duke has a locking mechanism that holds the chin bar in the flipped position, and the helmet has passed both the CE standard for open and flip front helmets (the certificate tag on the chin strap has "P/J", if your flip only has "P" then it's only legal for road use in the closed position). Otherwise, you probably won't be surprised to read that the helmet has an internal sun visor, micro-lock fastening and a removable lining, all as you would expect from a Caberg Flip Front helmet, just a bit more up to date. Most of our stores have also had a new version of the V2R-R arrive too, again, one of our top selling helmets, this time a conventional full face, the new V2R-R Chrono is a classy looking feature packed helmet.

Lots of new Dainese clothing has arrived, mostly leathers, but we've added some new ST-TRQ Pro boot colours and we've topped up stock on a lot of our best sellers. All of the stores have had new gear arrive,  and we're working on tailoring what our different stores stock based on what they've seen a demand for.

Dainese R-Twin Jacket
You can't go wrong with a black leather jacket though and we have two new, old style jackets in stock now, the R-Twin and the Newater. Either of them would go great with a pair of the Route One Jefferson jeans. More suits are arriving too, we've a limited number of Draken suits in a shorter leg, as well as Alien leather jeans, check with your local store for availability, but we should warn you, it's never easy to re-order Dainese stock so if you think any of this kit is just what you've been waiting for we suggest you don't leave it 'till later!

We've had small amounts of the Ixon ladies range in the past but we've taken a bit more of a plunge this year and we think you'll see why if you have a look at the range. Nice materials, good design,  real attention to detail, specific ladies fit and loads of style make the range stand out. We are stocking some of the French brands' de rigueur (see what I did there?) pink ladies kit, but if that's not your thing, you'll be pleased to know Ixon haven't relied on "shrinking and pinking" to make their ladies motorbike clothing, jackets like the Diva Sport are subtly definitely not blokes jackets!

Christmas Gifts

Perfect gift ideas for motorcyclists this Christmas

If you are looking for that ideal gift, look no further. We have some outstanding riding gear that will make any keen riders’ Christmas.

Your loved ones will be in for a real treat this Christmas as we boast a whole range of quality brands, and one to look out for this winter is Kriega. Designed with intelligence and thought, Kriega is one of the best luggage manufacturers on the market. The company’s heritage comes from enduro racing, promising good quality products made to cope with rain, mud and general wear and tear. If you want a product that has resilience – Kriega luggage will not disappoint. The company provides a ten year guarantee as they believe you are getting the best possible product – and we believe that too. Not only do our staff members highly recommend Kriega luggage, but our customers do too. With possibly the lowest return rate of all our brands, Kreiga is a brand not to be missed.

Here is a snippet of some Kriega items that we think riders will love this Christmas:

The Kriega US20 Tail back is 100% waterproof, boasts a 20-litre capacity and is made with ultra-tough construction. This rucksack is ideal for commuters riding in harsh weather conditions. The rucksack has zipped mesh pockets to store its removable shoulder and waist straps. The Kriega US20 allows for quick attachment on or off the bike and can be attached to any other Kriega US pack to increase capacity.
Kriega R25 Rucksack

The Kriega R25 rucksack's weapon is stability.  The R25 is made with Kriega’s own tried and tested system, quick release Quadloc harness. Unique to the rucksack industry, Kriega’s harness system, transfers the load onto the hips and chest, decreasing the majority of the load from the shoulders erasing  neck strain, experienced by regular rucksacks. The rucksack boasts a staggering 25 litre capacity, high visibility Schoeller material on both front and back, full width polypropylene plates and impact foam which protects the rider from pack contents. With no arm restriction, the R25 provides maximum support and stability for long distance journeys.

Exciting News  - Kreiga are about to launch their adventure luggage range in January 2012. The exclusive collection promises a range of soft panniers that will fit onto enduro and adventure bikes. Designer Director Dom Longman has high hopes for the products. He says ‘They’re super tough- tougher than anything we have made before.’ The product promises to be lighter and much cheaper than existing heavy metal boxes which can cost up to a staggering £1000. Infinity is proud to be a part of Kriega’s new launch. We highly recommend Kriega luggage and cannot wait for the new collection.  Act quickly this January – you do not want to be left disappointed!

Other Gift Ideas

In addition to motorbike rucksacks, why not have a browse through our Spada clothing products. Designed by UK motorcyclists, they know our English weather too well and guarantee 100% waterproof on all items.  New to the Spada collection is the Spada Stealth crash helmet and Spada Milan Tex trousers for ladies.
Motorcycle gloves would be the perfect gift this winter. Keep your fingers toasty with Spada’s best-selling gloves – the Spada predator and the Spada Blizzard 2 gloves.

Although many riders will not admit it, style is as important as comfort. Infinity is proud to feature quality products that are practical as well as stylish and Dainese Clothing offers this. Recognised as one of the coolest brands, Dainese is designed with a high level of technology and extreme style.

Spada Clothing and Dainese Clothing are our best sellers so get ordering – you don’t want to miss out!

From all of us hear at Infinity, we wish you a Merry Christmas.

New Dainese Stock Arriving.

Dainese Thorax Chest Protector (Ladies Version).

The new products are starting to arrive early this year - normally things really start around March, but we've just been adding lots of new Dainese products to the website - the shop downstairs is bursting with cardboard boxes of stock. Some new Caberg helmets have just arrived and we'll have W2 Boots in the next couple of weeks too. Watch this space...

Highlights of the new Dainese range include the new N-Frame Back Protector inserts, some new T-Shirts and bags (weren't we meant to have them before Christmas?!) and the Delta Dart jacket, which has Dainese's new waterproof system.
The N-Frame Back protector fits the pockets in the back of Dainese Jackets. There are two sizes, G1 is  smaller and fits ladies jackets and some smaller sized mens jackets, and G2 which fits mens jackets and some larger ladies jackets. These back protectors meet CE Level 2, a harder standard to pass than the Level 1 most back protectors meet.

We really like the new Dainese Delta Dart jacket, it's classy looks are bound to be a hit with commuters. The outside of the jacket has a water resistant coating and the waterproof membrane is bonded to the outer of the jacket, so when the jacket gets wet it dries really quickly. We've a few new lines from Dainese this year that work this way, it seems to be a great idea.
