The red bits are where we'll be! Things are well under way for this years NEC show. Our stand plans have now been approved, the B+B is booked (can someone check?) and Dave is now doing rota's to cover our stand, (highest up red bit on the map, near the doors) our really big Oxford Products stands (lots of red bits altogether) and...wait for it...our 5 star Arai stand (long thin "l" shaped red bit, furthest down)....Did I mention I neeed two weeks off late Nov/early Dec? Did I sound like Rob there?
So yes, this year we are the approved Arai Five Star dealers at the NEC, meaning we will be working very closely with the importers, Phoenix, and have some pretty exciting exclusive kit, some of which you won't have seen before.
On top of that, without wanting to give too much away, we'll be bringing loads of Rukka and Forcefield products with us amongst other things. Our stand at the NEC is a pretty unique Rukka experience in the UK. The only place with more Rukka in one place is the importers warehouse, and even that is emptied for the show. It's also a chance to talk through what you need with our top Rukka guy, Nige, as well as some of the importers top guys.
We'll also have Stu and Paul from Forcefield on hand next door to explain how they keep on winning Best Buy awards in the bike press all over the world.
Rumour has it that David Watkins, our FD, enjoyed his remarkably brief stint last year so much that he couldn't wait to volunteer to run the Oxford Products hall, sorry, stands. Tenner says he's "ill" if Luton are playing though.
We've just got the EDZ range of base layers in, we'll have them with us - I don't think the guy that said the gloves were "One Size Fits All" had met Mr Watkins.
